    input to explorer

the only way to get audio in to the factory radio/system is through the aerial socket.... try and find a gadget called an fm modulator.; it takes an audio input through a pair of rca sockets from your dvd and converts it to a fm radio signal and plugs into your radio aerial socket, and the aerial lead piggybacks into the modulator so you still get radio recep tion.
there are good and bad, like everything else, and that reflects in the price, and they are not too common, but are dead easy to use and install.
