Newbie needs help installing subs and amp CORRECTLY

I have a pair of jbl gt1000 dvc subs 2 or 8 ohm impedence that I want to run off a rockford fosgate punch 150a2. The amp does 75w@2ohms. I need to know what is the best way to wire these subs up? Should I bridge the amp or just run the subs on seperate channels? I want to know the best way to wire my setup the get the most power. I need a little help so I don't blow my amp, I will eventually use this amp to power some components. Thanks for your help Chase

It said on the spec sheet that they are 2 or 8 ohm impedence. I guess that means they can be wired for 2 or 8 ohms.

ok I think I know how to wire them up. They are 4 ohm dvc subs, if I wire two of them up, I can get a 4 ohm load. I can bridge my 2 channel amp, that will give me a 4 ohm load, which will work with the subs. Is this correct?

    ok

The amp is probly 150 watts bridged at 4 ohms correct and 75x2 at 2 ohms???
If it is you have to options. Wire each sub separately to a channel. Wire each sub parallel which will give a 2 ohm load on each channel. Or you can wire the subs together in a series parallel and get a 4 ohm load. You bridge that on the amp. either way, each sub will receive 75 watts.
