subwoofer install in an avalanche suv

I woul like to find out what is available and how to install some subs in my 2002 chevy avalanche and still be able to use the rear seats to change the vehicle from suv to pickup.

O boy, ummm...only thing I can think of is a bass tube or two under the front seats, or one of those false floor elclosures...but thats a tough one!! There might be products out there like kick panels except the go in the back seat and run along the bottom and you could fit a 12" in there...I'm not to sure though, you could install a sub under seat back seat too, but I dont know about the whole fold down thingy....

what you can do it palce subs unber front seats after slight alterations to mechanisms under it. you can also get 8inch subs and custom mount one under the passenger side glove compartment. Then also in the back if you have the time and skill you can make a custom fiberglass sub get up that is mounted to the celing of the car, or take the side skirts of the back be out and re fiberglass that with a cool enclosure with out sacraficing space. good luck

True, OR, you could build a new center console and mount the sub in there...it would take work, but thats what its gonna take to have a good install.

i dont see why the y say it changes all it does it take out the window and push down wall.

Yeah, it CHANGES from a SUV into a pickup by taking the glass out and dropping the seat down

what do you think of blaupunkt?
the have a new saucer sub thats only like 3in
total from top to buttom.and from what i hear
they sound pretty good . thats what i hear havent
heard them myself.. but their made for just such
problems.. lots of luck.
