my amp says its 400rms @ 4ohm n 600rms @ 2 ohm. does that mean it gives out more power when its connected as 2ohm? if it is, must i go get 2ohm woofers?

ps> im getting 1 sub and a mono amp.
as for your setup, 2 dvc 4s will equal a 1 or 4 ohm load.

    1 dvc 4 =2 ohm load.

the lower ohms, the more "wattage" is available due to less resistance. amps don't put out "bass". the sub does.

yes it will give out more power @ 2. you don't need 2 ohm woofers, different combinations that will get you to 2
