    are optima batt. worth the cash?

    hey guys....... i am thinking about getting an optima battery. but i have heard that they are not worth the money. and some people tell me they are great batteries. im not sure what to believe.

    yellow tops are good batts.

    red tops are IMO, kinda worthless because you can get a standard lead acid filled battery from most places for MUCH cheaper.

    i have another question. i was told they no longer sell the yellow top battery size for civics, is that true? cuz if so i need to modify my battery tray.

    oh and i have a 93 civic hatch

    Thats True They Were Losing Too Much Money So They Decided To Produce Just One Standard Size

    Yellows and Blues are good. I have a redtop, and I have NO problems with it, and its over 2 years old. I was told the reds lose charge fast, and when they do, they never hold a full charge like they are supposed to. Like I said, I never had anything happen with mine, yet.



    Looking to buy 2nd and 3rd gen Orion 2100 HCCAs.
