    Never understood

    http://www.knukonceptz.cvfom/product...prodID=KOL-AK0 -----=$90

    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDe...prodID=KLM-AK0 -----=$60

    Only difference I found was that the Kolossus weighs 12 pounds and the KLM weighs 6.5 pounds.....

    The Kolossus also has the choice of the 300A fuse.

    The Kolossus has 1 extra foot of power wire.

    Where does the 5 pounds come in at and why such a price difference?

    Kolossus is 100% copper, the KLM is copper coated aluminum.

    A 30 dollar difference?

    What is your average 1/0 100% copper or copper coated aluminium and is there a big difference in power?

    Lookie what I found Quote from KnuKonceptz "the KLM Kable is equal in size to the Kolossus Kable, but is designed for lighter current loads and not lightening your wallet." "capable loads of 250A" It also says that the Kolossus Kable can carry 300A.

    Re: Never understood

    The issue of CCA (copper clad aluminum) vs pure copper wire was discussed at length over on CAF recently;

    http://www.caraudioforum.com/vbb3/sh...+clad+aluminum

    It's long....but in the later pages the guy from Knu chimes in.

    Here is a small continuation of that conversation that carried over to ECA;
