Where i can find alternator of 200 amp for my ford fanger?

I have current problems as per my truck specification i have an stock alternator of 130 amp but i need upgrade because i have 850 watts rms in my audio system. i have gel battery red top and a capacitor of 1 farad but my ligths still fall heavely whit the bass punch. I don't know if i can upgrade my alternator with a 200 amperes and where i can find it!!!

you shouldnt need one, i had a stock honda alternator at 130 amp with the optimal yellow top with two JL Audio 500 watt amps. The alternator was DEFINATELY not charging my battery so for weeks we could not figure what was wrong and finnally my car set on fire and it was because the wire I had from my deck to my amps burned completely off. It wasnt a secure connection, then the person that put my alarm in didnt have good connections, same thing with the capacator and my speakers even, so i rewired EVERYTHING and now my alternator charges the battery fine and bass hits EVERY time and my lights dont dim at all. It could also be that your alternator is bad. You should first check all the connections make sure they are absolutely PERFECT and then check your alternator to see if it is charging the battery at the right voltage and the right amps.

You should be fine, i've got a 135 amp ford alt in my f-150 and it handled a 1200.1 @1ohm fine.

It's beginning to sound like a broken record, but 130A should be good for a couple thousand rms. You have another problem.

Yeah, i have a stock alt on in my ford fairmont futura running an 800W system and it works pretty well, from time to time the sound is distorted beacuse the Volts go down but if you have a 130 there is deffinatly another problem. My alt cant be topping 60.

Yea, you probably have a different problem, like everybody else said. However, IF you really really wanted one, www.mralternator.com has them for $225.

I dont think that Ford Rangers come with a 130amp alt. ford usually is rather poor when it comes to stock alts.

I dunno about that man, mine came stock w/a 135 amp alt. 97' F-150 Lariat

Actually I think Ford began using the 130A pretty regularly in the mid 90's. Plus, trucks generally come with larger alts since people tend to load them up with more accessories than the typical sedan or coupe.
