Do I need a alternator upgrade or......

Do I need a alternator upgrade, or a second battery or 15 farad stiffening capacitor or all three or a certian combination. I am runnig JL 1000/1 amp to 3 10"W6v2
Any suggestions

if u insist on doing any of those do them in the following order

1. alt upgrade
2. cap(useless if u have a good charging system)
3. 2nd batt (again not really needed...will only supply xtra power when car is off)


i'd suggest u upgrade your alt instead of the other options.....

Do your lights dim? If they do, look into a higher output alternator than your current one.

I would start with nothing. Just hook it up and see how it performs. There's a pretty good chance things will be fine. If there are problems you can go from there.
