Icon9 Amp is leaching power when car off, killing battery :( please help!

Ok, here's my setup, pretty simple: 2 alpine amps: mrv-300 and mrv-1000, a 1F cap, 4 speakers, a sub and an HU. it's setup like in the diagram (attached)

my car battery dies within ~8hours when the car is off. on the mrv-1000 i notice the power light is like half on with car off - it also has the cap attached to it. (not the case with the mrv-300) The remote wire works - i installed a switch and sound cuts out when i hit it.

today i disconnected the cap and routed power directly to the amp (seems to run fine without it - last car couldn't handle the power, needed it). that half-light remains...i originally thought cause the cap held power, it was giving a little to the amp...i was wrong. the mrv-1000 seems to be the culprit. I've checked the remote/power wires and they are hooked up correctly. pulling the remote wire out of the amp does nothing - the half-light remains... it's only when power from the battery is cut (at the fuse for instance) that the light goes out.

    Any ideas?!? I'm out...

(pioneer 480mp, alpine mrv-300, alpine mrv-1000, 1F lightning audio cap, 2way-infinity 6x9's, 2way-infinity 6x8's, 15"sony xplod sub) (4ga to the trunk, 8ga from dist blocks to amps/cap)(12ga-speaker wire all around)

make sure main power isnt touching the remote input anywhere, even 1 strand will keep your ampp on

so i took the rear casing off the amp and was presented with this: one channel/side is perfect. the other, not so good. 2 of the 'things' have burnt out connections. one 2 of 3 legs are burnt out, the other, only one.

any idea who could help me fix this thing up? or at least enlighten me as to what these 'things' do? 2 are burnt out but this amp still pounds power to the sub.

for reference this is the mrv-1000

    thanks guys

That amp needs to be repaired.

aint that the truth. I had one freakin strand barely touching my remote wire and subs was just bumping away. My car even stayed on when i turned the key to the off position. It was weird. I disected the problem and saw a tiny strand of power angled downward towards the remote wire and the remote wire had a slit in the plastic shielding. Since i fixed that, havent had any issues since.

I blame it on the Capacitor lol.
