I am installing an Eclipse AVN6600 into my 2006 Jetta and it says that I need to splice into the vehicle speed pulse signal. Does anyone know where this is located on the new Jettas?

alright I have accomplished that problem, but I just turned the unit on to test it and it works great except when I turn the car off and take out my key the radio and screen still stay on.
you have to turn the display off manually, because they are lame like that

alpines have 2 power wires, wire one directly to the unswitched power supply under the dash, and the other to a switched fuse
and last i heard, 2005+ vw's need to have the factory radio installed somewhere in the car, or vagcom diagnostics (and therefore your warranty) don't work
