92' Honda Civic LX. Need to get power through firewall!

Wondering if anyone has one of these vehicles, and can help me figure out how I'm going to get my 4G power wire through the firewall and into the cabin. I currently have power running from the top under the front fender, and down along the inner door jam. No issues yet, but the wire is beginning to get "mashed" between the door and the car. No cuts or wear in wire sheathing after 3 years (just flattening), but it's making me a little skidish. Thanks!

Look for the rubber insert in the firewall where the gas pedal cable or clutch cable ect. goes through.
You should be able to get it to go through there. if there is alittle gap around the wires after you put it through just use alittle silicone to seal it up.

That is how I got 2 x 1/0 gage wire through my firewall.

You should deffinitely change your wiring situation. If you cannot find a existing grommet in the firewall you can fit your wire through (IIRC on Civics you can find one on the passenger side behind the under hood fuse box to run 4 guage through) then I would just go out and buy a Unibit and drill the firewall, then re seal with a 4 guage grommet.

i have a 98 ex and there was an opening on the passanger side. it fit my 1/0 kolossus, so your 4 awg should be fine
