    door and panel speakers

    ok i have a quick question probly....is there sumthing i can buy to stop bass coming thru my panel and door speakers....i have my HU bass setting at -12 as far as it will go.....i hope someone can help....thanks

    yes you can buy capacitors at most car audio shops. or online try crutchfield

    but if you have your bass turned down that low you really shouldnt be getting much bass!!! you dont have your head units LOUD setting turned on or bass boost or something do you?

    whats the difference.....i mean i see different hz rating but what one do i need....sorry dumb when it come to that

    it changes what frequency the speakers will see. So the lower the number the more bas you'll get from the speakers. Also remember that these numbers will change depending on impedence so if your not using 4 ohm speakers the roll off point will be different.

    And dont forget its a 6db slope. That means that the roll off is slow. Every octive means that it will be 6db quieter then before. You wouldnt want the 150hz ones for 4" midranges IMO. Depending on the speaker I'd either get the 150hz or 300hz.
