So as far as i know all you do is upgarde the: Battery positive to the alt, the battery negative to the chassis, and negative to engine block?
My car already has a fairly large wire on the engine block, im betting its 6 gauge or bigger, not sure. What is the purpose of the engine block ground being upgraded? Is it cuz the alt needs to be grounded?? Im assuming so. So ill possibly upgrade that if that is the reason.
Im planning to do the big 3 with 1/0 klm which should be plenty for my needs right now. I get some pretty good dimming right now. I am using a piece of **** sony amp which may even be an AB amp?? Its a two channel. Ive got 1/0 going to the rear. Ive done the battery to alt with an 8g wire, and the negative to chassis with two 8g wires. Left stock wires there, the stock alt wire looks like atleast 8g. I would assume with that small crappy amp that i would not getting dimming with stock wiring, let alone the added 8g, i mean the amp is maybe 500rms or so.
