then use it for your amp, dont fuse your alt wire, and if you do carry an extra fuse with you
and your adding on wire correct?if thats the case even if your fuse blows your car will still run cause it has the stock wire still there. you just wont get the full benefit of thebig 3
hmm all right. maybe i'll have to sell the inline fuse.
Fuse the line right before the battery. Use a fuse in relation to the line itself. Not the load it's supplying.

When buying a fuse for your line .. Focus on "Maximum amps for chassis wiring" in the description.
I really don't feel like reading 22 pages but what battery terminal would you suggest.
I did the big 3 already but just made the wires fit in my old terminal, I want something that looks a little cleaner so I can actually show people without saying "I'm going to clean up the wiring later.
O and I used 0 gauge.
any terminal will work, a terminal is a terminal its all about what you like
u dont need to fuse it.. i didn't fuse mine
I meant is there a battery terminal made for 0 gauge where I wont need to squeeze the 0 gauge into it. My current terminal was the biggest I could find at autozone and my local stereo shop says the biggest they have in 4 gauge.
online FTW, or you can look for one that accepts ring terminals. check www.knukonceptz.com for your needs
^thanks man ordering some now they look good, have everything i need, and aren't to expensive. Alright back to trying to teach myself how to design boxes.
thanks for all the informations guy.
guys*
yup
Hi,
I'm gonna do 0gauge cable from the alternator to the positive battery terminal. My stock fuse for the alternator is 90A. Is it safe to put in 100A for the new cable? Will there be a chance for it to blow my other parts?
Thanks.
dont wire it through your fuse holder, run it right from the battery to the alt positive, and leave the stock wire going through there. your components in your car dont need more current.
