How to wire a JL DVC sub up....

Alrighty folks, i just picked up a JL 12w6 which is 300watt RMS and has dual 6ohm voice coils.

Now here's the kicker, i need to understand about ohm's.

Can anyone tell me how i need to hook this up to get either 3 or 4 ohms resistance.
I just need to figure out how to wire it, this sub is gonna be running solo. Thanks!

Wire each coil in a parallel and you will come out with a 3ohm load. Trying to go and find out everything there is to know about ohms law however is a lot more info than you really need on this one. If you need anymore help on the wiring specifics give us a buzz and we will be glad to help.
