I don't have any experiend with them, but sometimes with little electronic things your supposted to pull a strip that turns them on. If not it might be broken.

ok i just got it to turn on... it was just suppossed to be grounded.
my question is, is it suppossed to stay on? is it ok, or do i need to install a switch to turn it on an off?
    thanks again

If it stays on constantly it will cause a parasitic drain on your battery and kill it eventually. Put a toggle in somewhere to turn it off when you aren't using it. Even a little current is enough to kill the battery- I have seen a tiny map light in a grab handle nuke a battery overnight. A toggle would cost what? $3?

Re: fuse block with volt meter?

Alot of things with volt meters have a terminal or wire that hooks up to a accessory or igition wire.

Re: fuse block with volt meter?

this one is an inline fuse with a voltmeter and the only wire that goes in is the power cable and the way its grounded is when you mount it to you car. it has no other wires...

it should have a sensor that times it out after alittle while, if it doesn't sense a voltage drop or rise.

Nobody's heard them. They aren't in production yet. There is no prototype even available. But he should still consider them. They will rock. I promise.

there should be a ground wire that you need to hook up.

either that or your meter's a dud
