Naggin' Noise from left front speaker

I just got my Pioneer 9400 installed two weeks ago. Everytime I start the engine I get this little whiny sound coming from the front left speakers. As I rev the engine, the frequency reflects that of the engine. When I shut off the engine, it makes this clicking sound for a couple of seconds after everything is off. What's up with that. Any ideas? I have the headunit, Infinity components, and one of those Infinity BASSLINK sub/amp combos in the back. Help!

There are lots of things that cause that to happen............here is two real common ones.

Ground, make sure your head unit and basslink (amp) are grounded to the same point.

RCA's, AT LEAST 18" (I recommend putting them on opposite sides of the car) apart away from the power wire. And are they a good set of RCA cables?
