    Bad ground?

    chriss229:

I have taken many electronic courses, and basic wiring, I know from this that ANY current in a wire causes a circular magnetic feild that can and will induct current into an adjacent wire.

I would like to know how running power wires and signal wires next to eachother will not have this problem. Also keep in mind that the ground side of the system, the vehicle body/chassis, does not create a circular magnetic feild like a wire. Thus cannot induct a current near as easily.

Muting plugs can narrow down the list as to which wire/component is producing the noise, but if you narrow it down to an rca cable, the noise can be caused by the cable, or by induction.

A bad ground can introduce nose into a system also. A bad ground causes less current to be dissippated buy the ground cable so the current must go elsewhere to get back to the battery, through the signal path (noise) or through the case of the equipment (which i've heard can cause noise but it has never happened to me).

Please describe in detail how induction noise/bad grounds is never a problem as it counteracts everything that i have learned through my schooling.

    Jensen XA-2150 - 400 X 1
Factory 4X6's in the dash running off the GM-100 (would buy JBL but no $$$)
Pyramid 6X9's running off KAC-646X (I know their not the best, but you buy what you can budget, and there are worse)
    2-Jensen 10's running off GM-X552
2-Pyramid 10's running each off its own XA-2150

Not the best, but you build better for under $1200 CAD
