    In that space consider dc subs. They thrive in small enclosures where as most others subs won't. If your not gonna raise the seat then I'd go with a pair of 10s over 1. 12. You'll get more bass response with more cone area

    If I were to get two Alpine Type R 12's, or two Sundown SA12's, should I get 2 or 4 ohm DVC, and what is the difference?

    Wouldn't get alpines. They need a big box. To get them pounding nice. The sa subs do as well but not as big as the alpines
    D2 or d4. Will depend on your amps stability. Most are 1 ohm stable so you'd need d4 subs. But some are 2 ohms or even .5 ohm stable. If that's the case then d2 subs either way
