    Really clean crisp sounding speakers 5.25, 2 pairs

    need really clean sounding speakers spending 50 a pair

    Very good suggestions given the OP's description. I would definitely choose something with a composite cone like those or a very stiff paper cone. Should give you the sound you're after.
