Out of curiosity...are you trying to downgrade, or upgrade, from the MX?
Always wondered how the sound quality was on those. They look nice as hell, but are getting harder and harder to find unfortunately.

MX sound twice as better in sealed box than ported box, but not loud as ported tho. But it's gets loud enough tho.

Nice Vids (The fiberglass one was pretty informative. I'm trying to do a fiberglass build in my Impala in the next few months, so I'll be checking that video out a few more times for pointers lol).
Good luck on your hunt for a sub for your girl! I'd help ya out if I could, but the only thing I have for sale is a tad under what you want the RMS to be (old school L7 Dual 4ohm)
