    2000 to 3000 RMS Amp

I'm wanting to buy a 2000 to 3000 watt amp to power 2 XFLs. I'd like to buy something for $300 or less, otherwise I'll just end up buying a brand new BC2000.

It needs to be able to clamp 2k+, not just have an exaggerated rating... So no crap

that they are. however if you get it and it takes a sh1t it would probly still cost less then a DC 2k, to get it fixed by a good repair place and it will REALLY sh1t on that DC2k. Trust me. How many 2000 rms @ 1ohm amps will put out 2496rms rising to 1.6 ohm, & will put out over 3k= rms @ .05ohm....

Look at the American Bass ph4000md or the new vfl micro 4480, you can buy either of these brand new around your budget.

I might be interested, depends on how much you want for it. I've heard the protos weren't as bad about blowing up as the production models
