Total no-go on a 15" N2? Sold at "blown" price for you, and you obtain an 18" good ol' aluminum 12-spoke basket perhaps?

You may have to clean it off and whatnot, but if they want like ~$45+shipping or something I say no-go. Honestly, a WTB thread here and CACO will probably get you one within minutes LOL.
IIRC I paid like $23 shipped each for mine, and just had to clean off the spider and surround landing a bit. Added maybe <20 minutes of time. Definitely was worth it going that route having to use a bit of elbow grease and a chisel and bit of sandpaper, where both baskets costed the same as one new one.
Agh, I've got some local kid here offering me the $350 I asked on Craigslist for this perfectly functioning D1.4ohm 15" BTL N2. But he was wanting to make payments, and has made payments, but he gave like $75 off the bat, then we decided on $75 every two weeks (just to help the kid out), but now it has turned into like $20 every week or two weeks and that is just NOT going to happen. I'll have to apologize to him and give him that cash back because at this rate it'll never leave my house nor be paid off FOREVER. Heck, I'll give him a cheapy HU he's in dire need of just for the hard feelings that may arise :p

Ah, hold up... New BTL N2 18" is just under $600... And, you can actually order an 18" recone WITH new basket for $230 bucks. It's an option right there in the open I had never noticed before on Fi's recone area. Personally, I think it's weaksauce they want $80 for a basket, but I suppose it makes... Nah, it doesn't make full sense, only a widdle bit... Haha.
So, anyhow, $600-$230=$370
So that's a pretty decent deal for you then bud? $120 bucks off essentially? And then hopefully I can obtain a killer price for shipping for you with the original Fi box and packaging et cetera.
So I suppose in the end, you would end up obtaining an almost brand new BTL N2 18" for $500 bucks if we find a decent shipping deal? Nearly $100 bucks less, and it'd probably be a decent bit more savings as you don't have to pay Fi to ship to you on top of that ~$600 bucks for the woofer. IIRC When originally ordering all four 15" BTL N2s I paid almost $40 bucks per woofer for shipping? Err, I can't remember 100%. But I do remember it being nearly $200 for shipping them all :p :/ Hahaha.
I have a new 18in N2 d2 recone with xcoil upgrade I would sale....would also cut out waiting for a month on a recone. Also a 6-spoke 18in basket should work which is cheaper and more of readily available

Also, every time I've ordered recones from Fi, it never took a month, usually <2 weeks, and never over 2 weeks the four times I've ordered a single or multiple recones. Idk, just my experience.
