WTB: Mono amp

Looking to buy an amp for my system. Needs to be a mono amp that does at least 500W @ 4 ohms. I have 2 SVC 8 ohm subs so my only option is 4 ohm. Let me know what you have. We can talk price or trade.

Alpine MRP-850 if you can find one if not grab an MRP-1000 both are great SQ amplifiers that do more than rated and are not too overly expensive. I also recommend a Kicker ZX

Yeah I would buy that great amplifiers I had one for 3 years and maxed out the gain/boost because I was a noob and it never fried or got too hot solid and will do every bit of 500 @ 4 and then some also has some good SQ and plays the lows well does good on voltage too.

Awesome...that's good to hear bc this build is geared to SQ rather than SPL. Obviously since I'm only working with 500W. Lol

Yep the MRP is one of the best SQ amplifiers I've used. Sure there are betters out there but not really in this price range.

I had both 10" and 12" type R's never had a problem. I know Alpine makes good stuff but never had experience with their amps.
