if you use the xovers that have the reg tweeter and upstage tweeter option ,you can use it with out the mid,doesnt change the xover points at all.like i said might be you best option ,then its only 1 xover per side

Well, looking for 6.5's, now, as well. The tweeters and mids were all getting replaced anyway. I knew they couldn't handle the power. But why, why, why does the timing have too **** so bad.

I forgot about Vifa. I'm giving then serious consideration. Do you have any experience with their titanium domes? They look like they might be up to the task.

I'm an idiot. The tweeters are fine. I turned the radio off and disconnected everything as soon as something went wrong. The change in sound was due to a mid dying. Don't ask me how I messed that up, or why I thought I had a dmm on the wire for the tweeter, when it was one for the mid, either..., cuz Idk. Lol, I hooked it all back up for a quick listen, and the other mid went out. Both tweeters were playing just fine, though. Anyways, my bad. Thank you for the offers, and advice, guys.
