I understand that but it does the conversion from the analog signal from the RCA's or line level output of the deck... the source is essentially processed 2x.

So its actually doing an analog to digital conversion 1st then a digital to analog conversion again...

Go for the Alpine H800, Or find a H701/700 with controller /thread

I pulled my H700 with controller 2 days ago. Original box, some mounting hardware for the controller, all the cables included.

And there you go, a proven world champion processor that is still used to this day by several SQ placeholders that still keeps up with all the new stuff. Depending on price this would be a great piece and is easy to use!

I dont need the best. Just something inexspesive/nice, that will get the job done.... If thats possible?
