Looking for a nice SQ sub. It needs to be a dual 2 ohm so i can wire it to 1 ohm for my amp. Amp will be pushing 1000 watts+ rms, so anything around that for the sub is good. Looking for one with a box included, as the box i have is only a .65cu sealed box and wont work for many subs. I prefer sealed, as per the space i want to take up, but if the dimensions are right, ported will be fine. My budget is about $200 or so with shipping. What do you guys have!!???
I have an obsidian 12 d2 with ported box I am currently running a Memphis st1000 to it now I would take $200 for sub and box shipped to you.
Whats the size of the box??
I will measure it tomorrow its like 1.7 at 34hz I would have rerun the numbers cause I took the box in on trade but its a good solid build box.

SQ and 1 ohm are not a match, for SQ you really never want to run your amp lower than 3 ohm, maybe 2 ohm if that amp has great DF.

I have an old autotec 1200x amp. Rated at 1000w at 1ohm, prob more like 1100-1200 tho. I had 2 old RE se 12's, but blew one and am currently running the single one at 2ohms. Suppose to be pushing 700rms at 2 ohms. The single one sounds like ish! probably over powering it as well. Gains at like 75%, boost down, filter at like 80hz.Quote:

Is the depth of the box the same as the width? How old is this set up and has it been reconed? If so why was it reconed and with what materials?
Its 1/2" deeper than it is wide and yes it was reconed with factory soft parts I bought it blown and reconed it been ran 2 weeks since recone.
