no if it does 500@4 thats fine as long as it is 3ohm stable. I figure it would put out around 350-400 at 3ohm if its stable?

Re: In need of an Amp for JL W6. Around 300-500rms @3ohms. What do you have for me?

I can sell you a Rockford Fosgate 800a2 that will do 1100 rms @ 4 ohms, or in your case can do around 500rms at 3 ohms on one channel. The other channel may be blown I tested it yesterday and it wasn't putting out any voltage. But I still need to hook a sub up to that channel. But in any case it works fine on the left channel and in bridged mode. It pounds! I would sell for $130 shipped. High end amp, for cheap.

    Let me know!

What do you have for me?-amps-021.jpg i have a little monster old school hifonics viii cyclops 100 watt mono block that in reality will do 5-600+ true rms/zed made/at 2ohms @113db,and only needs a 30a fuse to run it/8ga power wire, and the tdh is 0.02%,really clean, and works perfect,,,beat the dogsnott out of a pair of old school re 600rms tens,@1oclock position..will do $140 shipped see if i can find a older pic.i plan on getting fresh pics of everything i have for everyone by week ending, and will begin getting some posted as well..i have several amps that will work for your application..just let me know..i thank you

30A x 14.4V does not equal 600 watts rms. It just doesn't. Typo?

apparently you know very little about old school power house cheater amps..read up on zed made amps/cheater amps..do some home work, before lashing out comments about, unknown hands on experiencing ..ill put a $100 bill on it..so would you say that my 99 watt autotek mean machine that uses 8ga power supply max,and a max 50 amp fuse will not do 6-900 watts rms,at 13.5v-14.4v?????? its only 50 amps fused????????

The physics theory states that that sort of power output cannot be achieved with that current draw and that voltage. Yes, it is possible for it to do that for a short period of time, and yes, it is possible to do that if that fuse is not actually rated at what it says, or not in series with the power supply. It simply can't be explained that something can draw 50A x 14.4V = 720 watts and somehow put out 900 watts. It's physics. Not lashing out, stating a fact based on very solid foundations. I guess if the amp stores power internally and draws 50A all the time and outputs more than it inputs in bursts yes it's possible. But somehow I doubt this happens.

Care to explain the physics behind your cheater amp operating at 125%? I'd be interested to hear how it does so. I am not taking the ****, if it can I am literally very interested in how it does it.

Anyone on here with an electrical engineering degree? I'd be keen to hear their input.

so in theory...it cannot be explained,as stated,,how do you..explain high current draw??

high current draw comes from low resistance relative to voltage. V=IR. R decreases and/or V increases, I increases. And vice versa. Although I'm not sure if this is what you're asking. The fact is all of the stuff we are dealing with here can be explained with fairly basic math.
We can have this discussion elsewhere if you want, the OP probably doesn't need or want it here.

true..id like that..thanks..pm sent..so the more the voltage increased, the more output on an unregulated supply??
