    Home receiver

    Hey guys looking for a nice Home receiver, don't know to much about them. Just need a decent one.



    Refs:Prowler573,fived,pboulos, mattmcss, HCCAfan, xxx.xxdb, sephiroth619, ibanezcollector,nikosbuddy. Theres more I just can't think of them at the moment.

    ?? um............I need a decent home theater receiver. just said I dont know much about them, so what else do you want me to say??

    I need an amp for my subs, what are some good ones
    It would help to know what kind of speakers/ohm loads
    Budget...ect ect

    dont have the speakers yet starting with the receiver, 200-250$

    I personally like ONKYO
    Their lower end stuff is great for the money.
    They have a great home theatre in a box.;

    Get a B&K Seriously, Sony makes decent recievers in that bracket, can even find some really good deals on ebay for DENON. Very clean and good features/power for the money. Also, denon's can handle 6ohm speaker loads, which a lot of receivers in the price range cannot.....my $.02

    1. Sony ES, yes. Normal Sony, no
    2. Denon isnt cheap and they are ugly
    3. who in the hack has 6ohm speakers, not a vaild selling point IMO
    4. Onkyos can handle 6ohm loads too
    5. Ebay is the best place to shop for these things, they have tons of auctions on them

    I dont think my Denon 2805 is all THAT ugly
