Buck, I hope everything works out with the Exploder. Let me know if you need a vehicle for an Imagine 10 :)

I called Dave for a price on an Audiopipe TXX-BF15. I think he forgot to hit me back. It would be for a friend of mine who wants me to build him a system. Problem is, Audiopipe fails to list the Vas of this sub on their PDF file, so I can't model it without that. What's up with that? I will NOT be slaving on someone's system taking a blind guess on the box. And, Audiopipe recommends 2.5 cubes ported for a 15? That's gotta be a fart box. I wanna wring some SQ out of it, as my friend seems to be set on this particular sub.

Do 4 cubes at 32-33. The vas is around 100 liters I think. I've done several in 4 cubes and they love it. Maybe could go bigger. You don't need that much port area.
I think my friend hearing my single 12 slam a 20 hz tone made him want the whole spectrum vs. a hard peak around 40 -50 hz. He and I have a mutual friend whose box is tuned in the mid 30s or so, and we both agree that it leaves a lot to be desired. My sub's Fs is 27, but I still tuned it to 25, and it slams from 20 - 100 hz for what it is.
My box was tuned to 27 and I knocked out a port and went up to 32hz. I didn't lose any low end and just gained high end and output. With the right subsonic set I can dig down to 18hz and still hear/feel it.
Bass comes in around 1:20. Slowed white girl @ 22hz
