Wont work, both 3500's wont fit on my back seat and they wont fit beside the box either as im limited on room. If was to put them on the right side, the box would be pushed more to the left and thatll trap the port. Im also trying to keep everything in the trunk as well.

If you are forced to mount them to an enclosure at least get you some rubber feet from Lowes or HD in the hardware section to put underneath the amps.....It will absorb some of the vibration and it allows air to flow under the amp...

Didnt have much room for another two runs of 0 gauge so I bought a nice short ram intake. Now I have a lot more room and a nice sound. lol

this whole thing about "mounting on the box is bad" is a load of krap...it makes no difference whether its on the box or 1 inch away on a panel, the vibration is basically the same. As long as everything is secure and tightly fixed (box to car and amp to box) its fine. These amps are made to survive in a driving environment eg. sharp turns, sudden stops and acceleration, speed bumps, rough roads etc. all kinds of vibrations... more amps are damaged by user error, overheating, shorts, physical and water damage AND one of the least likely causes is vibrations from being mounted on a box. Rubber washers are a good idea no matter where the amp is mounted

hope that puts your mind at ease

p.s. how much did that 80sqft of deadener cover?
