First SA-8 v.2 Drop-In Kit
I have two to build so far -- IIRC this one was a drill slip into the surround. In any event -- just finished the first one and it looks neat so I took a few photos :

* This is where it really varies from our other kits. The spider spacer along with dual triple joint rings. You cannot see the 2nd triple joint ring but it is in between the spider layers.

It did take a good bit of time to assemble; which is why these kits are "expensive" compared to our other SA kits.
Re: First SA-8 v.2 Drop-In Kit
oooh you should make some with spl coils brah...:yumyum:
Re: First SA-8 v.2 Drop-In Kit
If someone orders one I will -- we have D1 8-layer flat SPL coils and then D2 and D4 4-layer round SPL coils in stock.

They cannot directly bolt on.
The basket bolt pattern is much wider on the v.2
