box for 2 Kicker S12L5's, and some other questions

I was wondering if 1.5 ft would be the right amount of space for each sub. How would it sound? Would it have the loud hard-hitting bass, but also maintain good SQ? And also, would the L5's give me hard hitting, loud bass, but also maintain good SQ? Are they better than HX2's? because that is what I'm deciding between. thanks

go to a local Kicker Dealer, or some website that sells kicker, and get all the specs.

I'm not so sure that the 15" L5's have a high SQ, but i know for sure that they will have a high SPL, my friend has 1 of 2 15" L7's hooked up to a 800.2, and it is almost as loud as mine. And mine is one of the loudest in my area.

Get those square-beaaatches pumpin, and ull put most any pair of 12"s to shame.

The minimum space is .88 cu. ft. and the max is 2 ft. Would 1.5 feet give a mix of both SPL and SQ. I want a little more SPL out of the L5's than SQ, so could anyone give my reccomendations as to what size the box should be? And also, what sub is the Kicker s12l5 most similar to because none of the shops around me carry them, and I want to listen to what I'm getting. thanks
