    Old Pioneer Sub/hifonics amp question

I am wanting to run a Hifonics bx1000d to 2 Pioneer TSW-383C 15s they are rated at 300watts rms each 600max. my question is would i be overpowering them in a sealed enclosure at 2.5cubes per sub?

What ohm load will the pair of subs show the amp?

the subs are dual voice coil and are 4ohm, i'll run them at whatever impedance i can get the best for what i have out of them.

Wire them in parallel-parallel for a final 1ohm load, then just set the gains conservatively. That amp probably only puts out ~800w RMS, so that's not much over the RMS of the subs.

this being said should i be looking for a different amp for the application or should that amp be fine given the conditions you stated.

Your amp should be fine with your application.
