yah, i saw that stuff too... i don't know if i trust that stuff.. It's like the 1500 watt amps you can buy for 100 dollars that catch on fire.

i have seen them and heard them. they sound a lil bit better than audiocrap subs in my opinion. also my friend was running a 500.1 RF amp that put out around 800watts max to 2 of those and he blew them apart. just thought i'd give you a lil warning on that.

Alright, Sence buying the Volfenhags wouldnt be a wise move...Ive found some other alternatives ...**** do I love Ebay ..

1 18' JL W6 for $300 I understand its gonna be a b-otch to find a box to hold it..But im up for the challenge.

    3 12' JL W3's in a plexiglass enclosure for $300

    ORRR 1 12' Audiobahn sl127 for $200 (claims to be a 2000 watt sub)

My question is..Which 1 will give me the best run for my money?..SPL is the major factor im after, and wish to obtain. If anyones ever heard these subs perform in person please leave feedback. Down here in VA all we have is Rockford's and Pyramids and im lookin for some other brand to bump.

Hmmm it's a throw up between the JLW6 18 and the 3 12W3's. The 18 will have better low frequency extension, but I think the 3 JLW3's should have the advantage in SPL strictly due to cone area.

Btw - If you go w/ the 18", make your own box. It will sound better.

Is this not a reasonable place to park?
