Can A Re-sx 12 Hang With The Big Boys

I was wondering if a RE- 12SX can hang with the big boy 12's such as my DIGITAL DESIGNS 9512 or my MMATS JUGGERNAUT 12? I would put it in whatever box size is needed tuned to whatever is needed but it has to sound decent for daily driving. I would be powering it with a VIPER-1200 watt mono amp. It would be in the trunk of a CHEVY CAVILER. If not I was thinking about a RE-MT12 but I was wondering if I could get one with dual 2 ohm coils? Would the MT hang? Would it sound somewhat decent for daily. How big of a box does a RE-MT12 need? Thank's for the help

uh yeah, with 1200 watts the sx really opens up. ive never heard any beyond audio stuff, but i'm sure that the mt would. those like room to strech their legs though.

The inhuman = RE HC

The 9512 could handle much more power for burps and daily than the sxs can, but the sxs can take 3000w for burps.

Do not get the MT for daily. You would be starving it with 1200w. You will be happy with the SX, or dd9512 if you want to add more power later.

If i get the RE-MT 12 I will probally power it with 2000 watts for daily.

i was thinking a re mt...my 12" Q is running at only like 1500-1800 but it wangs...burps average of 12000-14000 ill never have that much power...but yeah havent seen a local setup with 1 12" beat me yet...and i have pretty much walked on most 2 12" setups locally to...havent been beaten by 1 yet but i have only gone up against 6.....

You cant go wrong with the SX
Im running 2 12s and will be hitting 155 soon

look into an audioque HD, i know nikosbuddy likes to brag up his Q, which is all fine and dandy, that is the next sub im probably gonna buy, but i think if someone built a decent box for an HD, i think the ole Q would meet its match

If you are looking for a daily driving oriented woofer, I'd highly suggest getting the SX over the MT. The MT is a purpose built woofer, with no warranty. If your primary goal is playing music, the SX is a much better choice.
