    3 alpine type r 15s, jbl 1200.1, 2 jbl 600.1????

    i need help!!!!!!!!

    im now lookin at gettin 3 alpine type r 15s.......

    i wanna run one jbl 1200.1 to one of the alpine type r 15s

    and then one jbl 600.1 to each of the other 2 alpine type r 15s

    this way each sub has its own amp

    which subs should i get the (4ohm + 4 ohm) or the (2ohm + 2 ohm)

    and also how owuld i wire teh usbs so that the ap is runningat 2 ohms so that they give out their max power?? can it be done with these amps and these subs or do i need different amps??

    PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

    why are you running the subs at different powers? - and you really don't need that much of it.. 1200 watts on one sub? I don't think the Type R's can handle too much more than that, and that's way over their rms. Chill out and think about a real system before you go daydreaming

    dual 4 ohm is the way to go wire the voice coils in parallel to make a 2 ohm load out of each sub
    formula for figuring this is 4X4/4+4=16/8=2

    you definetly need more power than the 600.1's.....if you are doing that you need 3 1200.1's for each sub, i have a type r 15 and i am running 1060 watts to it......140db=2nd place in spl
    1st place in SQ
    and EarDrummin they can take more than the 1500 peak they are rated at....

    i wouldn't run less than 800 watts to one....you neeeeeed lots of power for type r 15's!!!!!
