Rockford Fosgate Punch HE and Sony Amp

I am currently running a RF Punch HE 10 off a Sony XM-2150GSX amp bridged. The speakers are rated 200 watts RMS and 400 watts peak. The amp says that is puts out 380 watts RMS bridged. Should I be careful about blowin the sub with this setup? I have the 40Hz bass boost set a little above halfway, the gain a little below halfway and the crossover at what I guestimated to be about 80 Hz. I don't really abuse the sub I am just using it to add a little more oomph to my car setup. Any thoughts on this from anyone? Also I noticed the amp gets pretty **** hot as well. Any comments greatly appreciated.

you won't blow the sub unless you turn the gain up all the way. that sony amp has a tendency to blow fuses. IF it starts blowin fuses, get rid of that amp and get a jbl 300.1 for your sub!!!!
