    Icon32 Which sub for SQ?

Which sub would you buy for the best sound quality? I am probably going for a 12" but may go 15", single, in a sealed box. The Brahma, Shiva, Perfect 12.1, Alpine type R, jlW3, IDmax12, ACI sv 12, ads 312rs, Alumapro Alchemy, Audiomobile Mass 2012 or something else? I am going to buy the JBL 1200.1 and probably the Clarion DXZ 825 receiver, using my factory speakers for now (wish Ford would end this 5x7 crap) in an extended cab F-150. Almost everybody seems more interested in spl but I really care about SQ and getting good sounding deep bass. Any input on 5x7's appreciated too. Thanks.

I Wanna Rock.......But it better sound good

If you want deep clean sounding bass, use a ported box. Large woofers like 12s and 15s will sound better in a ported box, while 10s often sound better in sealed.

I would look at the IDMax for SQ.

get either the idmax, shiva, or perfect. i know what you mean about those 5x7 sizes, they ****, but i got 6x8s in there and they fit good.

It depends on where you cross your subs at. Out of the list the Brahma has the best low end extension, while in the 60hz+ range the IDMAX is the most musically sound. The Alchemy Alumapros are quite sonically accurate as well, although I don't think they provide enough SPL for my tastes.
