    The memphis people said it would be 150 to repair it.
    What should I do

    im getting that exact woofer for a friened.

    they can take an assload of power, and its ~$200 shipped. if you are interested - contact DAVE ( monte_carlo97 here on the forums ) and talk to him, he will sell them for roughly 200shipped with a manufacturers warranty.

    but it should be as loud as the memphis woofer listed.

    if he sold it for $40 shipped. it would be a deal. its a complete ripoff to buy a sub with a cracked basket. because it needs a recone AND a rebasket. PLUS shipping costs.

    its not worth it at all. its destroyed, and dont buy it.
