Which sub to get?

Alright guys ive had those Blaupunkt subs long enough, mainly because I never played them loud until now. ( I posted earlier the problem i had with distortion at high volumes ) I know this seems a long time away but around next December I will have a new sub, but I dont know which one to get. HOPEFULLY by then I will have a new car with smaller trunk and other space so it will be louder. I plan on doing some dbDrag, but I also want to have a sub I can listen to during the day. I am going to experiment with boxes on it ( one for spl, sq, ported, sealed, bandpass, ect. ) I really dont have a price limit but i want it to be AT LEAST a 12" driver, maybe 15 too. I was looking into the Brahmas, IDMAX, RE XXX, Type R's, Solo Barricks, Perfects, thats all I have right now, what do you guys think should go down?

1 or 2 RE XXX 15's Have 2 boxes, 1 for daily driving and one really big comp. box if you are going to compete. The XXX's look promising and should deliver great SPL and SQ from what I have heard.

Well I wanna see how they do before I but them, they should have reviews up before December, but i was also thinking of Audiobahn Alum12x. I know they arent that good sq wise but they are loud and cheap.

Is the RE XXX Dual 4 ohm? If it is, can I put one amp to one pair of VC's that has 800W and another amp to the other pair of VC's with 800W to get 1600 watts ( its RMS ) ? does it work like that?

From the way it looks on the site all the xxx's are quad coils, but I'm not sure about it.

so qvc with 1.2 ohm per vc gets 4.8 ohm sub? so with a singly sub, whats the lowest ohm load i can wire it down to? .5 ohms?

YOU CAN GET 0.3 OHMS IF YOU RUN ALL THE COICE COILS TOGETHER
