I have no idea but hopefully someone will...What changes do you hav to make to your enclosure before inverting a sub install? Do you size change? What the differecne in the install steps?

the only diff in inverting a sub is that the cubic ft will change.... u must subtract the driver displacement from the size of the box (as the speaker will not displace any interior airspace as an inverted mount)

i would guess that the SQ would be better given solid accoustical wall for the low freq to reverb off of... but then again i am actually not possitive

Icon33 Cmon PPL I want info ON This

i have only heard one set of subs with the invert mount.
2 10" infinity perfects.. 2 in a single box... it sounded incredible... not in the volume but the overall depth of the sound caught my attention to this...

i want to hear from anyone who has anykind of knowledge of this style of mount,...
*inverted mount really accomplish anything or is it just a asthetically interesting and appealing .

    :p

most subs can be mounted inverted style but the amp box shape and size can change the sound dramaticly

i know that a perfect cube will sound real bad compared to a dual wedge enclosure in my opinion these are the best sub boxes to get

inverted can work well with multiple subs if you have an amp per sub b/c then you bring in the "push/pull" work of the woofer's one sub pushes air as the other one pulls it. the setup is weird and i don't know how it works or if it works better but my friend told me about it one night that i wasn't all there so i didn't pay much attention . so i doubt this helped any.

Will inveting the two subs increase the spl? Will it increase the SQ? Both? Neither?
What about having only one sub in a sealed box with that sub inveted? What will that do?

well guys tell you what, right now i have my screw around system 2 blaupunkt overdrive 12"s in a smaller sealed box, and this sunday my friend and I are building a bigger ported with 1 inverted the other normal so i will let you guys know, i can tell you that if you ever get those subs don't go sealed they are not accurate at all. we're gonna build a big a@@ ported inverted push pull set-up trying to get me as much SPL as i can get. so i will let you guys know.
