Adire,Blueprint or DD. Which do I want?

Ok after installing my 1st system in my 1st car i was happy with my $140 audiobahn and my 800 watt amp in a small sealed box giving me a spl of 141.5.For the rest of the year I will port the box for comps, But I'm already thinking about next year and what do I want for a Sub next year.Well for a set up I want 1 15" no more no less.Which 15" should i go with the brahma from adire, the 9515 from DD or the 1503 from blue print. I want spl more then anything but SQ is also important. For comps it will be in a large ported box and for everyday driving it will be in a small sealed box what ever the T/S paraments calls for.I will be pushing the sub with 2400 watts rms from a Harrison Labs amp.The blueprint is looking to be my 1st choice because of the cost but what does everyone think What is the best sub for what i want ????? Thanks.

15" subs dont really have good SQ. but i hear adire has pretty good SQ for being such a big size of sub, AND it hits

Size is not a factor in sound quality.

Sheer input power alone would make me recommend the DD, I watched the blueprint fall apart with less than 2400, and that much power for extended times is going to cause a brahma to fail. They don't need that much power....

2400 watts constantly going to a DD can blow it ask bigbassman about that. i read somewhere that he doesn't recommend more than 2kw's to a 9500 in a daily driver.

What if I keep the gain down on the amp and just turn it up for comps ?

Out of the three, that is the most promising woofer to withstand that much abuse for more than a few seconds. It has the most forgiving suspension, with that amount of power you'll mechanically destroy the brahma.

i still say way too much power for that woofer, you will blow even the beast with that much power running to it constantly. even with the gains way down the 9500 will eventually rip apart.

What if I got a smaller amp, would 1600 watts be ok with either one of these subs and still give me a good spl when i'm at comps. and not destory the sub for everday use ?

Well until you own one you might have somthing to say but until then you dont lol. I have over 2000 goin into one and I listen do it around 3-4 times a week the thing is yes keepin the gains down and the volume I dont think for a daily driver you can handle that much sound but it would do fine and not rip apart it can take 2000rms all day long and still be fine.

he's talking about the DD9500. and yeah you could run 2000wrms to it all day and night but, it still might blow it you never know. if you wanna know if it can handle it just email DD about it or something like that. hell if you really want nothing but SPL get a MTXRFL, that will take all 2400 watts and ask for more. or the 9900 series DD.

Yeah but taking a load out for a sub woofer. banks prolly don't see that as a secure load. no but really will 1600watts going to either of the 3 subs be too much. i really want the blueprint because its only half the price of the othere 2 but if i'm gonna spend $250 i would consider up to 500 for a sub thats better quality..So which sub do i want sending 1600watts and keeping sq in mind not just spl, but mostly spl

out of the 3 go with either a brahma or a DD, the blueprint keep in mind is a SVC 4 ohm sub, but the brahma will take that power just be careful and so would the DD once again just be careful.

Ok so the Blueprint would not handle it . But what about the RE XXX 15" I just seen them for the 1st time and see they are pretty affordable.I'm not sure if it is my computer or its just hard to read but I can't read what the features say on the web site. So how would the sub do would it meet my needs or will it be over powered compared to the DD or Adire ?

well the specs on it i am not totally sure on but i think the RMS is only like 1200watts put not totally sure, now the blueprint might handle the power it's just does the amp you have put out that much power at 4ohms?? that was my only thought on the blueprint not being a good decision.
