I had port noise for my 6.5" sub before, it was incredibly loud noise every time the bass hit hard, so I bought some pvc pipe and extended the purt about 6 inches and **** that thing sounds like a 10" now! That would be my sugestion, lengthen the port.

i already have to huge ports though. like they are at least 12" long and i can easily stick my arm in them. i'd say they are prob 4 or 5 inches in diamter?? i don't think i'd want to extend them any.

Other than that, I'd say if there is that much port noise, you just might need to get a bigger box, or I am just confused! Maybe zane or audiolife can give you a hand, I'm stuck!

Sand the edges of the port lip a little until they are rounded. Should help out. What is the box tuned to anyway?
