    RE 8's and one 12

Hey guys, i need an answer quick!!! Well before the group buy is done. I am going to be putting a pretty descent system in my brothers 73 firebird, he wants the sucker to hit hard of course and him and I alike dont want it to be like others so i was thinking of like going with 2 8's in the middle of his trunk facing you when opened and then one 12 on the bottom facing the sky, He doesnt have too much room so i will be glassn' all of it, giving the two 8's some funky design... But how would this sound, especially if i cut the 12 off to only produce the lower frequencies and the 8's to do the higher like from 70-100?? and the twelve 70 and lower...?? or should i just do one 8 and one twleve...i would have liked to do a 15 but there is no room..... and i want the subs to match, also on kind of a budget...

Re: RE 8's and one 12

The RE8's are subs. Not suitable for midbass performance. That would be a bad Idea. Cancelation would occure. And you sound like you want a loud ars daily driver SPL car. One RE RE will probably not suit your need.

Re: RE 8's and one 12

Sorry. running 2 different size's of subs is a bad idea. So I can not recommend tunning for them. Good luck and happy bumping.

Re: RE 8's and one 12

Dude...that is a waste of time and effort. Just run 1 or 2 12's or 2 10's or something, and run them the entire bandwidth. There is absolutely no point and/or benefit to running the two different sized subs like you want.
