difference between single 4 ohm and dual 4 ohm is that the dual 4 ohm is flexible for wiring options....

Single 4 ohm means when you hook one of those subs up to an amp, the amp sees 4 ohm. If you have dual 4 ohm with one sub, you can either run an amp at 2 ohm if you wire the sub in parallel, 8 ohm if it's in series. That sub is 1000 watts RMS, correct?? So you want a mono amp that's stable at 2 ohm and is somewhere around 1000 watts RMS X 1 at 2 ohm.
