    MTX thunder 8500 series

    Are these good subs? I just wanted to know because they are kinda cheap for 2 15's...

    Yeah, they're good subs. Have heard 2 in a sealed box in a camry. Sounded pretty good, haven't heard the 9500's though.

    i heard the 9500's in a shop in a mtx ported box, they hit pretty da*n hard......

    Ok, all the Blake's stand up, now sit down... To answer your question, the 8500 series are pretty good, and 400 watts a coil may be a little low, but it will still sound alright... The 9500 series are AWESOME!!! With the right power and enclosure, they will hang, in both sq and spl, with the JL w7s.. They are amazing...
