    Decisions, decisions...

I'm about due for a rebuild, so i thought i'd ask your guys' opinion. I currently have two 15" RE/DD hybrids that i love(Brahma Extremes are listed in the sig because i'm waiting on a recone), but i have a friend interested in buying them. I may eventually do a wall, but not just yet. The vehicle is a Chevy extended cab truck with the back seat removed.

    Choice 1:
2 of the new RE woofers

    Pro:
    -potential to be louder IMO
-no need to build a new box
    -sheer awe factor
-i could be one of the first with the new woofers

    Con:
    -more expensive
    -longer wait
-could use more power which would necessitate electrical upgrades

    Choice 2
    6 RE RE12's

    Pro:
    -cheaper
    -easier woofers to sell
    -no wait

    Con:
    -new box required
-not as loud as Choice 1
-i won't have the new woofers

Give me your opinions. I'm kinda at the point of "how much is too much?" My truck ***** for SPL, but my current setup plays music at some pretty insance levels IMO, at least compared to everyone around here. But, i want to have the loudest street beater in my town, which i think either choice could maintain.

both setups would be sweet indeed but i myself am partial to seeing a large # of subs in a wall. having the new subs would be cool untill there not new anymore and your setup wont be that unique. be bold, be different, hell be loud, go with all six subs.

    Re: Decisions, decisions...

if i do a wall, it will be 12 of the RE 12's or 4 of the new 15's, but i'm not sure i want to go that route just yet. the 4 SX idea was great, thanks audiolife

anybody else have anything to add
