which sub to get (need recommendations)

ok, if i were to get 1 12" sub that i would run with a 150-200 watt (maybe 300) amp in a sealed enclosure.......i want clean sound that gets decently loud (louder than 1 10" :o ) which 12" would i want of these brands:

alpine (are the type E's any good?)
    polk audio
    boston accoustic
    rockford fosgate
    sony
    jbl (the lower end)
open to any other suggestions or brands

I'm trying to stay between $100-200 with this sub maybe a bit more. Thanks for any info!

Your not the only one looking for 1 12" subwoofer. I will tel you what I told the other guy.. Adire Audio Shiva makes a very nice 12" woofer that would sound very clean in a sealed box.

Type E subs are fairly new. They are Alpine's entry level sub, and are below the R and S models.

Look at Crutcthfield.com, or if Circuit City has a website, they should be there as well.
