How to run my 2 12" RE SX's

I know the RE SX is rated at 1000 watts rms but i have been hearing they can handle alot more. I have 2 12" RE SX's and just bought 2 bx1500d's. should i run each at 1500 watts at 1 ohm or at 1000 watts at 2 ohm?

They only make em in dual 2's. You will be fine running one to each because they can handle more than 1KW, and those Hifonics are slightly overrated.

Re: How to run my 2 12" RE SX's

do 1 ohm cuz like radel said those hifonics are overrated and probably wont do more than 1300 and SXs should handle around 1200 or 1400 but not sure. I know I send at least 700 to my SE and the SX are way stronger than the SE so it should handle more that that. That setup should knock hard as hell if its in a good ported box.

thanks for all the input. one more question: how much do you think the bx1500d's will put out if my only electrical upgrade is a lightning audio high output car battery? if you dont know what this is it is similar to a yellow top optima

not if you want some other config...

But as stated above, the bx1500d is overrated...run each one at 1ohm. (also with 1 dual2 sub....2ohms is NOT an option, it is eithe r1 ohm or 4ohms). peace
